TERMS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE

As a condition of your use of this Website, you agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You will use this Website in accordance with these Terms of Use;
  • You will only use this Website to make legitimate purchases for you or for another person for whom you are legally authorized to act;
  • You will inform such other persons about the Terms of Use that apply to the purchases you have made on their behalf, including all rules and restrictions applicable thereto;
  • All information supplied by you on this Website is true, accurate, current and complete;
  • You will safeguard your account information and will supervise and be completely responsible for any use of your account by you and anyone other than you.
  • We retain the right at our sole discretion to deny access to anyone to this Website and the services we offer, at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, for violation of these Terms of Use.

ORDERS

Purchases made on shop.carnivaltribe.com are for delivery/pick up services within Trinidad ONLY.

The purchase of a delivery/pick up service package does not automatically register you in any Band. Your Costume ID assigned to you at registration MUST be used to place orders.

Delivery / Pick up requests must be submitted for each individual costume package i.e. each order can contain only one (1) costume package delivery / pick up request. If you require multiple costume packages to be delivered to / picked from up from 1 location, you must submit an order for each costume package. There are no discounted or group rates available.

Elektra Monday Wear purchases made on shop.carnivaltribe.com are for pick up services within Trinidad ONLY. Your collection date and time information will be sent via email no later than January 31st 2024.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Delivery/Pick-up Services are not applicable unless FULL costume payment is received by January 31st, 2023. Costume payment must be paid directly to the band.
MasterCard and Visa credit cards are the only methods of payment accepted. Your credit card will be charged in US dollars by Experience the Magic Ltd.

COSTUME PACKAGES

Your costume package includes your:

Sealed Costume box with identification wristband

Any additional costume pieces
Goody bag

ORDER Delivery/Pick Up Policy

Orders will be available for delivery / pick up based on service purchased.

Delivery/pick up dates and times are not guaranteed. Each delivery / pick up service provider will contact you directly (via email, text) to advise on further instructions including the scheduled date and time for delivery/pick up.

Delivery/pick up services will commence approximately 2 weeks before Carnival Monday 20th February, 2023.

Valid email addresses and contact numbers MUST be submitted.

Aeropost (smart lockers) – Costume packages will be held at Aeropost smart lockers for 48 hours. You will be notified via email when your costume package is ready for collection. If not collected within 48 hours of receiving the email, costume packages will be returned to the band and it will be your responsibility to collect your costume package at the band’s distribution center.

Delivery services (DHL and The Concierge) will make a maximum of three (3) attempts to deliver your costume package to the specified address. If unsuccessful, the costume package will be returned to the band and it will be your responsibility to collect your costume package at the band’s distribution center.

Tropical Express Couriers – Last day for pick up at locations would be Friday 17th February, 2023. If not collected after this date, packages will be returned to the band and it will be your responsibility to collect your costume package at the band’s distribution center.

No preferential or express collection will be available at the band distribution centers.

Purchases for delivery services are non-transferable.

Major unforeseeable operational disruptions, delays in delivery or non-delivery by our service providers, as well as operational interruptions owing to a strikes, lockouts, traffic disruptions, and cases of force majeure at our company or our service providers shall cause the delivery deadline to be postponed by the duration of the hindrance to performance, insofar as such events are relevant to our ability to deliver the goods. We shall without undue delay notify the customer when such hindrances begin and end. If we are unable to complete delivery/pick up by Friday 17th February, 2023 you shall be entitled to a full refund of the delivery/pick up service only. No refund will be issued towards your costume package. Costume packages will be returned to the band and it will be your responsibility to collect your costume package at the band’s distribution center.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Cancellation of Delivery / Pick up Service does NOT cancel Masquerader registration. Deadline for Cancellation of service is Friday 10th February, 2023.
